Forklifts for Sale
We at Royal Forklift, headquartered in Pine Grove, PA, have been selling, leasing, and repairing material handling equipment for close to four decades. We offer the best that premium brands have to offer, including lifts from UniCarriers, in most of eastern PA.
Our UniCarriers units are best in class. If you are not familiar with the UniCarriers name, the company was formed by combining three well-known and durable brands – Barrett Industrial Trucks, TCM, and Nissan Forklift – and offers a range of LP, electric, diesel, cushion, and pneumatic forklifts with capacity ranging from 3,000 to 22,000 pounds.
Barrett Industrial Trucks, founded in 1914, was a pioneer in introducing electric-powered equipment to the material-handling market. TCM founded Japan’s forklift manufacturing industry, producing the first ever made-in-Japan forklift in 1949. Nissan Forklift began operations in 1957. Upon acquiring Barrett in 1988, it became the first Japanese manufacturer of all five classes of material handling equipment in America.
Today, UniCarriers provides forklifts throughout the world. The company’s American manufacturing facility is headquartered in Marengo, Illinois, and continues to deliver innovation and new technology, offering the best limited warranty in the industry.
Selecting the Right Equipment for The Job
UniCarriers’ forklifts include:
- Class I = electric sit-down 3-wheel and 4-wheel forklifts. They can be equipped with either cushion or pneumatic tires. Cushion tires are used indoors on smooth surfaces. Pneumatic tires are used outdoors on rough surfaces. These battery powered forklifts are quiet and do not produce fumes or emissions of any kind, but are less powerful.
- Class II = electric reach and deep reach forklifts. They offer height that many other forklifts cannot achieve and are targeted toward picking and putting away inventory indoors. These lifts are great when space is a concern—when for instance you need to work in a narrow aisle.
- Class III = walk-behind pallet jacks, rider pallet jacks, tuggers, stand up counterbalanced forklift, walkie counterbalanced stacker. Lifts such as these generally come in both rider and walk-behind versions. They are used most often to quickly unload trailers and for short, quick runs.
- Class IV = LP, gas-powered internal combustion engine (similar to a car) with cushion tires. This is a sit-down forklift meant to be used inside. They are ideal for moving items back and forth between a warehouse and a loading dock, and can be quite powerful.
- Class V = LP, gas or diesel-powered internal combustion engine with air or solid rubber tires. These lifts are sit-down in style and are intended for outdoor use on rougher terrain as well as indoor use within a warehouse. These are some of the most useful and versatile lifts available.
